Redeemer is a member of ISAIAH, an ecumenical organization of over 80 Christian congregations in St. Paul, Minneapolis, and St. Cloud. Participants have opportunity for leadership training to address issues of concern to the church and the community. Presently the statewide issues of ISAIAH are: Public Education Funding, Transportation Issues, Domestic Violence, and Civil Rights for Immigrants. The core team of leaders from Redeemer are also active in the St. Paul Caucus of ISAIAH, which addresses local community issues and congregational development. Core team chair is Irene Markley. The Saint Paul Area Synod is a cluster of 118 Lutheran congregations in the Saint Paul area, from Forest Lake to Hastings, and east to the St. Croix River. Our Synod Bishop is Peter Rogness.
