ISAIAH - Church Based Community Organizing
Redeemer is a member of ISAIAH, an ecumenical organization of over 80 Christian congregations in St. Paul, Minneapolis, and St. Cloud.  Participants have opportunity for leadership training to address issues of concern to the church and the community.  Presently the statewide issues of ISAIAH are: Public Education Funding, Transportation Issues, Domestic Violence, and Civil Rights for Immigrants.  The core team of leaders from Redeemer are also active in the St. Paul Caucus of ISAIAH, which addresses local community issues and congregational development.  Core team chair is Irene Markley.  To enter the ISAIAH website, click the following link:   www.isaiah-mn.org
WELCOME TO THE SAINT PAUL AREA SYNOD
Redeemer is a congregation of the Saint Paul Area Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).  The Saint Paul Area Synod is a cluster of 118 Lutheran congregations in the Saint Paul area, from Forest Lake to Hastings, and east to the St. Croix River.  Our Synod Bishop is Peter Rogness.  The ELCA is 11,000 Lutheran congregations in the United States, with 5 million members.  Bishop Mark Hanson is Presiding Bishop.  To enter the Saint Paul Area Synod website, click the following link:   www.spas-elca.org
